About.

Mission
Provide a forum for high school students to publish their empirical research on psychological topics. Although literature reviews are also important contributions to the research community, we do not publish literature reviews in our journal, as we focus on experiments conducted by the researchers themselves.
As part of the publication process, we hope to give students feedback that will help them improve upon both their existing and future work. We also plan to focus on research that can be conducted in a high school environment without access to any expensive equipment and to make the articles easily available online where they can help other students by modeling what teenagers working only in their high schools can accomplish.
Submissions for the next issue of the Journal of Secondary Psychological Studies are open now!!
Requirements
  • The research must have a clear link to some aspect of psychology.
  • Research must have been conducted in a high school, home, or online setting.
  • Papers must be authored by students in high schools; mentors and teachers must be acknowledged but not listed as authors.
  • Researchers must have conducted the study themselves; literature reviews of other studies are not accepted.
  • No more than two submissions per publication should be from the same school
